City of Mississauga Media Release
The City of Mississauga will be hosting a Remembrance Day ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Mississauga Civic Centre Community Memorial. The ceremony will include 2 minutes of silence and a wreath laying. We will honour veterans who made sacrifices during times of conflict and those who are still making sacrifices today. Flags at the City of Mississauga will also be lowered to half-mast in honour of Remembrance Day.
Please dress accordingly, as the ceremony will be held outdoors. In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will be held in the Great Hall inside the Civic Centre.
