2018 Bike Challenge – Ride for your Health and to Support Local Hospitals

Ever consider riding your bicycle to work, to the local community centre or on a short ride through your neighbourhood? Now is the time to get on your bike and start pedalling. The second annual Mississauga Bike Challenge kicks-off this Sunday with a launch ride and you are invited to join us.

This year, the City of Mississauga has teamed up with Trillium Health Partners Foundation and the Humberview Group. Every 10 km cycled, will unlock $1 up to $50,000 for Trillium Health Partners Foundation, generously donated by The Humberview Group. These funds will support healthcare at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre.

The Bike Challenge begins with a launch ride on Sunday, June 10. The 24 km cycling route starts and finishes at the Applewood Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Dealership. Riders will travel to Trillium Health Partners at 100 Queensway W. along the route. Register for this launch ride by visiting mississaugacycling.ca/bike_challenge.

The Bike Challenge continues until Saturday, September 15. It is designed for all rides, short or long. Registration will open at mississaugabikes.ca on June 10, the same day as the launch ride.
