Below is an update on some temporary works by the Region related to local watermain replacement on Crestlawn Drive in the vicinity of Dixie Road.
Starting on Monday April 13th, the Region of Peel’s contractor will be installing a 300mm diameter watermain on Crestlawn Drive just west of Dixie Road. To accommodate this work due to space limitations, portable variable message signboards have been set up to advise trucks to use the alternate Burgoyne Street access to Crestlawn Drive and its adjoining streets as opposed to the Crestlawn Drive access. The temporary condition is anticipated to be in place for two (2) working days to allow the contractor to safely complete installation in this area.
Inspection staff will be on site to monitor the work as it progresses and pay-duty police will be present in the intersection for traffic safety purposes.
